2009 - 2010 Honda Pilot Cross Bars Review

(More customer reviews)I can't rate this product because i never received it.I ordered a 2009 Honda Pilot crossbar on Aug 14th, but i received a 2009 Toyota Rav4 crossbar on Aug 19th.I immediately contacted the seller via the telephone number listed on their return policy.They informed me that they would overnight the correct crossbar, but if they can't, they would ship the item the next day.They told me that the correct item would also include a return shipping label for the Rav4 crossbar.It is Aug 27 and I still haven't received any item from them.I tried to call them again yesterday and today, with no answer.I left a message both times, but have not received a return call.I think this vendor can't be trusted.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR.I'm waiting for the proper time frame to file a complaint with Amazon.

(More customer reviews)Nothing fancy here, the Cargo Box Hanger works as advertised.It's a little expensive so I first went to Home Depot to see if I could build something cheaper.Well, I could have struggled with odds and ends to make something but I would not have looked as nice or been as sturdy.This thing is sturdy.

One problem, the supplied screws both broke off in the wall despite a pre-drilling and using a slow drill speed.Yakima needs to provide sturdier screws.The holes for the screws do not allow for a much larger diameter screw either.

(More customer reviews)This hitch carrier will work fine for basic cargo carrying; note the actual product does not include the high side-rails (which are optional).Build quality is okay, but assembly is a chore, and the hitch tube is not as rugged as I would have liked (it has thinner walls than I would have expected).Also the hitch tube is very square (the edges are not well rounded) and will not fit the receiver on one of my vehicles because of the square edges.Test the receiver tube as soon as you get it to make sure it will work for your vehicle before you go to the trouble of assembly.No hitch pin is included.
